Prosthetics and Sensory Aids Service provides Veterans with medical devices, items, and services to improve the Veteran’s quality of life, keep Veterans safe in their home environment, and increase their activities of daily living.

Prosthetics and Sensory Aids Service offers the following services:

  • Prostheses
  • Orthotics
  • Durable Medical Equipment
  • Surgical Implants
  • Wheelchairs
  • Blind Aids
  • Maternity/Breastfeeding items
  • Items for Daily Living
  • Orthopedic Footwear
  • Vehicle Modifications
  • Automobile Adaptive Equipment Program
  • HISA (Home Improvement Structural Alteration Program)
  • Clothing Allowance Program

Basic eligibility for Prosthetic items is:

  • you are enrolled in the VA system
    AND
  • your medical provider requests an item and gives a proper medical justification for the item through a consult.
