Hospital Visitation Updates
Tuesday, March 2, 2021
Our Veterans, visitors and staff are our No. 1 priority. Effective March 1, 2021, we have updated our visitation policy. Please note the following:
- All patients, visitors and employees are required to wear a mask when entering any VA facility.
- If a Veteran needs assistance to access outpatient care, one person may accompany the Veteran.
- If a Veteran does not need assistance, we ask that no one accompanies the Veteran to their outpatient appointment to help reduce the risk of COVID-19 transmissions.
- Up to two visitors per Veteran may be allowed for inpatients between the hours of 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. daily.
- Currently, children under the age of 18 are not permitted in the facility.
- We continue to use programs such as FaceTime to connect inpatients with loved ones.
