Posttraumatic Stress Disorder Clinical Team (PCT)

The PCT provides comprehensive care for Veterans with Posttramatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) associated with combat, military sexual trauma (MST) and other military-related traumatic experiences.  Individuals who have PTSD that is not caused by their military experience (such as childhood abuse) are provided PTSD treatment by the Behavioral Health Recovery Team.  The PCT's services include Evidence Based Psychotherapies for PTSD such as Cognitive Processing Therapy and Prolonged Exposure therapy.  The PCT offers group and individual therapy, psychiatric PTSD assessments and medication management and PTSD-related psychological evaluations.  Current therapy groups include PTSD Core Group (an educational group about PTSD and how it is treated), Cognitive Processing Therapy and PTSD Process Groups.
