Secure Messaging through My HealtheVet is a web-based message system that allows participating VA patients and VA health care teams to communicate non-urgent, health related information in a private and safe computer environment.
Upgraded My HealtheVet users may opt-in to use Secure Messaging. When a patient sends a message, their Primary Care team is set as the default. Patients may select the drop down arrow to send a message to someone associated outside of Primary Care. The following health care teams are using Secure Messaging with patients who have upgraded accounts:
