Harry S. Truman Memorial Veterans’ Hospital
My HealtheVet at Truman VA
Are you registered on My HealtheVet, VA’s online Personal Health Record? If not, what are you waiting for? Registered patients can track their health, document their military and family history and much more. In addition, VA patients who are registered on My HealtheVet can upgrade their account by completing a one-time In-Person Authentication (IPA) process. It’s quick, easy and at no cost!
Is an Upgraded Account or In-Person Authentication for me?
Yes, if you want to see the names of VA prescriptions, not just the numbers; get your VA Wellness Reminders (under the Get Care section); and be the first to access all new My HealtheVet features that will enhance your Personal Health Record. Future features include communicating with your doctor and healthcare team by Secure Messaging and viewing your VA appointment – all through My HealtheVet!
After you register online and watch the brief orientation video, you may visit Truman VA or community based outpatient clinics to complete the IPA easy process. You will need to bring your government issued identification. If you are at the VA Medical Center, visit the Release of Information office in Room E002 or, if you visit a community based outpatient clinic, ask the check-in staff to assist you.
For more information, please contact Andrea Wiggins, the My HealtheVet Coordinator at 573-814-6233. If you need assistance with registration, visit the medical center’s library, located in Room C341. The library has three My HealtheVet computers available to patients and the librarians can provide one-on-one assistance.
