May 21 VA2K for Health and Homelessness
Mark your calendar and get out your walking shoes! Truman VA will be hosting VA2K on Wednesday, May 21, at 11 a.m. This 30-minute walk and roll is designed to support our homeless Veterans, involve the community and promote employee wellness.
Veterans, family members and the community are welcome to join VA employees and volunteers. Participating locations include Truman VA and Community Based Outpatient Clinics located in Jefferson City, Kirksville, Lake of the Ozarks, Saint James and Waynesville. At Truman VA, check-in will be located at the west parking lot entrance located off of Tiger Ave (Maryland Avenue).
There is no cost to participate. However, donations benefiting the Homeless Veterans Program are welcomed. Donations can be brought before the event or dropped off at the starting points.
