Bring in expired and unused medications on Friday, October 27 from 10am to 2pm

Truman VA, in a collaborative effort with state and local law enforcement agencies, is focusing on removing potentially dangerous controlled substances from our nation’s medicine cabinets. Most abused prescription drugs come from family and friends. This take-back event provides an opportunity for the public to surrender expired, unwanted or unused pharmaceutical controlled substances and other medications to law enforcement officers for proper disposal.

All Veterans, employees, visitors, guests and the public can bring in old or expired medications to Truman VA on Friday, October 27, from 10 am to 2 pm in the hospital lobby.
