The Public Affairs Officer is responsible for the overall administration and operation of the Public Affairs Program. This includes:

• Official spokesperson for the local organization including the hospital and community based outpatient clinics

• Principal liaison with news media including coordination of interviews and release of patient information

• Community relations liaison with related health and educational organizations, congressional offices, service, civic and fraternal organizations.
