Construction Update: We’re Expanding and Improving

Operating Suite Replacement/Renovation

The new Operating Suite was activated last May 9, when the first surgery in the new space was performed. The activation concluded the phase one of the project, which provided 27,000 new net square feet. Phase two (renovation of previous space) will be completed in February. Phase three (continued renovation of previous space) should be completed by November 2013.

Other Projects Under Construction

• Renovate the Emergency Department
• Renovate and upgrade several infrastructure aspects of the facility, i.e., air conditioning, medical gas vacuum system, exhaust fans, tuckpoint & seal exterior walls, electrical/mechanical systems

• Relocate Sterile Processing
• Relocate Intensive Care Unit
• Infrastructure projects, i.e., air conditioning, water riser shutoff valves
