Behavioral Health Service Line (Green Team) About the Service LineThe Behavioral Health Service Line (Green Team) at the Harry S. Truman Memorial Veterans’ Hospital provides consultation, evaluation and treatment for a variety of issues that can impact emotional well-being. All services are delivered with respect and compassion for Veterans and their families. The Green Team consists of psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, nurses and rehabilitation specialists with specialties in overall emotional well-being, behavioral medicine, posttraumatic stress disorder, military sexual trauma, addictions, crisis intervention, geriatric psychology, pain management, neuropsychology, rehabilitation psychology and research. ConfidentialityMental health services are confidential. We will not talk to anyone about information you share unless you give written consent. Under federal law, a few exceptions to this rule exist. If you have questions, please ask your mental health provider. Contact UsOutpatient services are available by appointment in our clinic Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. through 4:30 p.m. Veterans can be referred to the Green Team for an initial assessment by their primary care providers or make an initial appointment with our Behavioral Health Triage service by contacting the Green Team at (573) 814-6486. Services ProvidedThe Behavioral Health Service Line (Green Team) offers a variety of individual and group services depending on a Veteran's mental health needs.
